Matthew J. Pimentel
Matthew Pimentel joined Ferrucci Russo Dorsey in July 2018. Matt handles a wide range of matters including business litigation, construction litigation, receivership matters, real estate transactions, and contract disputes. In addition, Matt works as part of the team that has successfully implemented insolvency strategies to preserve many businesses, assets, and real estate within the State of Rhode Island.
PAST EXPERIENCE
Prior to joining Ferrucci Russo Dorsey, Matt worked for one of the nation’s largest veteran’s disability law firms as an appellate litigator, where he represented disabled veterans before the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.
During law school, Matt was a Student Attorney with the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office and the Roger Williams Criminal Defense Clinic. Both of those experiences provided Matt with invaluable in-court experience advocating before both the Massachusetts and Rhode Island District Courts. Additionally, Matt served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Frances A. McIntyre of the Massachusetts Superior Court.
EDUCATION
Matt graduated from Bridgewater State University (B.A., History, 2010) magna cum laude and Roger Williams University School of Law (J.D., 2013) magna cum laude.
